About Us
- Open Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Staffed Full time by a Registered Professional Nurse and a part time Health Aide
- Health Office Duties include
- Provide first aid for injuries sustained at school
- Provide rest area for ill students until they can return to class or be picked up
- Provide yearly health screenings (Vision, Hearing, Scoliosis) and notifies parent/guardian of an abnormal findings
- Track physicals as required by NYS
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians (all paperwork requirements must be met first)
- Maintain CONFIDENTIAL health records of all students
- Work with students, parents, and staff to encourage a healthy and safe learning environment
